Baptism, Confirmation, Marriage, RCIA & Anointing of the Sick

Baptism

Application for baptism for infants should be made to Fr. Michael at least one month before a requested date for the baptism. Application forms can be collected after any parish mass from Fr. Michael.

Confirmation

This sacrament is usually received around 14 years of age. There are classes offered most years and if you want to be confirmed please contact Fr. Michael.

Marriage

Requests for the Sacrament of marriage must be made at least six months ahead of the date required and contact should be made with Father Michael so that an initial meeting can be arranged for those wishing to be married with him.

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

This is a programme for adults wishing to be baptised or received into full communion with the Roman Catholic Church. Normally the classes start in September with the reception on the following Easter. If you are interested or want more details please contact Fr. Michael.

Anointing of the Sick

Anointing of the Sick is a lovely support for those who are elderly, sick or about to go into hospital. You do not need to be in danger of death and this should not be confused with the old "Extreme Unction". Arrangements can be made for this to be received at home for those who are homebound. Please contact Father Michael if you want to arrange a celebration of this Sacrament.
